About
Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Brut Champagne is the original Belle Epoque vintage cuvée, first appearing in 1964. Fresh and delicate, this sparkling wine from the Champagne region entices you with distinctive aromas of white fruit and flowers and an exceptional combination of freshness and finesse on the palate. It’s pale, translucent gold with radiant clarity and subtle glints of apple green. For this Perrier-Jouet Brut Champagne, Séverine Frerson, the House’s Cellar Master, specifically selects Pinot Noir grapes from two crus, Verzy and Mailly Champagne, in the north of the Montagne de Reims, both characterized by their chalky soils. The elegance and finesse of the Pinot Noir grapes harmonize perfectly with the signature Chardonnay from Grand Cru terroirs in the Cote des Blancs, enhancing the delicate floral structure of the bubbly wine. The result is an elegantly structured cuvée with a clear floral dimension, making this Champagne an outstanding example of the art of blending in the Perrier-Jouet style. This prestigious cuvée pairs naturally with noble ingredients like grilled prawns, razor clams and roasted quail. Enjoy Responsibly.
