About
220 years of experience goes into every bottle of Jim Beam Bourbon. An aging process of four years in new charred oak barrels gives Jim Beam its elegant, refined and smooth character. Jim Beam's extra aging creates an elegant, smooth and refined whiskey that pleases with every sip. After seven generations and 30 family members of master distillers, the Jim Beam family tradition continues today. In 2005, Frederick Booker Noe III, the great-grandson of Jim Beam, filled the 10 millionth barrel of Jim Beam, keeping the tradition of Jacob Beam alive for the next generation of bourbon drinkers. This bourbon has rich notes of caramel and vanilla with hints of toasted wood. The palate showcases intense caramel and toffee flavors with a distinctive spiced oakiness.

Double Oak my new go to
I've been a "family Member" of the Jim Beam Family for many years. While I like to have an occasional drink, I go to Jim Beam. I've enjoyed all the flavors through out the years. It wasn't until recently when I was attending a function that I came across the Double Oak, the combined flavors that I took from it, Carmel, fruit, hint of vanilla along with that charred taste was incredibly tasty. I like my white label Jim Beam preferably in a glass, i will admit I mix it with soda from time to time, but I think I'll keep Double Oak in a glass by itself, or possibly one ice cube splashed into it, but for this one I'll leave out the soda.
