About
1953 Tequila is an ultra-premium tequila free of additives that is founded, farmed, distilled, and led by women. From the mineral-rich red soil of the Jalisco highlands, mature Blue Weber agave is responsibly harvested for 1953 Tequila. We then slow roast the mature agave before extracting the natural agave’s juice, which is then fermented in open-air tanks, distilled with natural spring water, and aged for 15 months in the finest vintage American oak barrels previously used for bourbon. The result is an ultra-premium tequila with a smooth finish that showcases the natural flavors of agave and highlights notes of caramel and vanilla with hints of citrus and chocolate. 1953 Tequila was named best additive-free Añejo by Men's Journal and featured in Forbes, Woman’s World, Southern Bride, Cheddar News, and numerous other spirits, business, and lifestyle media outlets.
