Writers’ Tears Copper Pot is a unique blend of aged Single Pot Still and aged Single Malt Irish Whiskey. Triple distilled, non-peated and matured and aged entirely in American Oak bourbon casks. At a time when Irish whiskey was distilled exclusively in copper pot stills, two styles flourished: Single Malt and Single Pot Still. The marriage of both styles became known as 'The Champagne of Irish Whiskey' and was a style beloved of many of the Irish literary greats of the time.
