Every Woodford Reserve Personal Selection is full of surprises. There is a certain marvel in tasting through three barrels pulled aside just for ReserveBar, including how the next step of blending these barrels together (1+3, 2+3, 1+2) can result in something completely different from where we started. This is because, in the tasting of each barrel, we identify tasting notes that we love by themselves; when blended into this extremely small batch, some of those notes disappear, some are heightened, and sometimes entirely new profiles develop. It's a beautiful alchemy at work, and for you, we're excited to share this final result. The nose shines with vanilla, toasted oak, cloves, and orange citrus. You will discover candied cashews, marshmallows, oak, and cherry on the palate. With a shorter finish, the selection has cinnamon sugar, hazelnut, and oak.
