Our inaugural Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Uncle Nearest 1856 is an award-winning blend, bottled at 100 proof. It is astonishingly smooth and can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in your favorite whiskey cocktail. This legacy-era bottling contains whiskey from our own barrels – distilled, aged and bottled in middle Tennessee – and we couldn't be more proud to share it with you.  

Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey is the fastest-growing American whiskey brand in U.S. history. The striking amber color of clover honey, SIA awakens the nose with citrus and spice and opens the palate with a hint of smoky vanilla. The finish is long, smooth and refreshing with hints of hazelnut and toffee.

Unique Story:

The story of SIA is what makes it especially unique, crowd-funded two-years ago on Kickstarter.com by a Hispanic woman in California named Carin Luna-Ostaseski, after years of searching for a way to introduce her friends to Scotch whisky and challenge the idea that scotch is "your grandfather's drink". Mission accomplished.

Saint Liberty Bertie's Bear Gulch Bourbon Whiskey

Saint Liberty Whiskey celebrates and honors the untold stories of pioneering, Prohibition-era bootleggers and pairs them with great craft whiskies from all over the country. Our first bootlegger is Bertie Brown who was a woman of great courage and determination. She arrived in what was then the Montana Territory in 1898 from Missouri, a young, single, African American woman determined to make it on her own. We honor Bertie with a distinctive and wonderful 4yr Texas bourbon out of Central Texas and then we perfect it in Montana by proofing it with the same pure Rocky Mountain Water Bertie would have used 100 years ago.
