The deep rosewood color of the whisky derives purely from the Sherry-seasoned casks, mostly built of Spanish oak, used for maturation. The character is classic The Macallan, exquisitely rich, with flavors of dried fruit and orange zest perfectly balanced by heady notes of wood, spice, and smoke.
