Reminiscent of a fine fragrance, the nose leads with distinctive vanilla, fresh cut oak and delicate florals. Orange citrus oil provides subtle grandeur while ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg fit in and out. Burnished oak delivers a soft ending.
Palate
Fresh fruit, vanilla and rich fruit cake with suggestions of apricot, pear and crisp green apple. Hints of ginger and cinnamon are balanced with a light resinous oak finale.
Finish
The finish is long, sweet and fruity, leaving a lasting impression on the senses.

Born of two art forms, Edition No. 3 unites the worlds of whisky and aroma to showcase the power of the senses in creating and experiencing The Macallan. Realized in collaboration with Master Perfumer Roja Dove, Edition No. 3 is an intriguing combination of two types of oak casks - European and American. Together these casks create a distinctive single malt with a rich and fruity character that balances the classic flavors of The Macallan with citrus, vanilla, florals, and fresh-cut oak.
