Each year a small number of casks is identified by the whisky mastery team to be offered as part of this special selection of non-chill filtered, cask strength whiskies ranging from 12 to more than 20 years old. The Macallan 2018 Exceptional Single Cask No. 23 was hand-selected by Whisky Maker Sarah Burgess from cask 3917, a European oak Sherry hogshead.

Originally filled on April 6, 1993, this remarkable whisky was bottled more than 25 years later, on September 24, 2018 straight from the cask. Delectable aromas of summery berry tart, raspberry, blackcurrant and almonds, open to flavors of toffee, cinnamon and vanilla, culminating in a long-lasting finish of berries and oak.
