About
The Dalmore 12 is recognized as a whisky with character far beyond its age. The spirit is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, yielding soft vanilla and honey notes. A proportion of the spirit is then finessed in pinnacle Sherry casks, including 30-Year-Old Matusalem Oloroso casks, exclusive to The Dalmore, to give the whisky a rich, nutty character. The two styles are then reunited to create an outstanding single malt.

I'm not much of a...
I'm not much of a scotch drinker but my friend does PR for Dalmore and I have to say, that's a quality scotch. Its strong, not for the faint of heart but wonderful night cap after a long day. Price matches the quality so I would definitely recommend.

the great bottle...
the great bottle brings you in and the taste keeps you wanting more dalmore! great for someone who is new to scotch as well as someone who's been drinking scotch forever. it's delicious all by itself or with a rock! 12, 15, and 18 year are all equally as fabulous!
