Typically, Stranahan's Single Barrel releases range in age from 4 to 7 years; this means that we have selected something special just starting with its age at 7 years and 1 month. This 114.08-proof pour starts with an intriguing bold nose that blends oak with chocolate malt balls, dark fruit, and baking spices. You'll find dark chocolate, cherry, shortcake, and vanilla on the palate, leading into a finish that lingers with cola, walnut, sugar cookie, and ginger spice. From first crack to final pour, this single barrel is an absolute delight and truly lets the virtues and possibilities of American Single Malts shine.
