Nose
Bright orange and lemon zest, soft orange blossom, juniper, cucumber, and peppercorn.
Palate
Orange petals come in first, followed by bright orange zest and cucumber on the mid-palate, with more blossom and petitgrain on exhalation.
About
California’s Central Valley is home to some of the world’s most beautiful and bountiful citrus groves, including Lindcove Ranch, a family farm specializing in citrus. With our Valley Gin, we've captured the beauty of a perfect spring day in those groves, transporting the fragrance of fresh blossoms straight into your glass. What's In It? A total of 25 botanical ingredients. Fresh orange blossoms lead the way, supported by a variety of other California citrus fruit (Bergamot, Seville, and Valencia oranges, grapefruit, lemon, and lime). Angelica root, caraway, fresh cilantro, California bay laurel, cardamom, coriander, fresh cucumber, fresh dill, dill seed, fennel seed, fresh ginger, juniper, Malabar black pepper, nutmeg, orris root, pink peppercorn, Saigon cinnamon, and star anise complete the picture. The base is non-GMO grain neutral spirit. The Experience St. George Valley Gin brings an aromatic and elegant touch to any classic gin cocktail. We especially recommend it in a Martini, Gin & Tonic, Collins, or Vesper made with our California Citrus Vodka. It also shines in a Rosé Spritz and makes a sublime Ramos Gin Fizz. The Process The Process First we infuse caraway, cardamom, Saigon cinnamon, coriander, angelica root, orris root, dill seed, fennel seed, star anise, Malabar black pepper, fresh ginger, lemon, lime, Seville orange, and Bergamot orange in non-GMO grain neutral spirit. We then distill this infusion on one of our 1,500-liter Arnold Holstein copper pot stills through a vapor-infusion basket that holds layers of juniper berries, fresh cilantro, and California bay laurel. The remaining ingredients (fresh orange blossoms, Valencia orange, grapefruit, nutmeg, pink peppercorns, fresh dill, and fresh cucumber) are infused and distilled separately. All distillates are then blended, proofed to bottle strength, and filtered to remove visible impurities prior to bottling.
