Spirit of the DAO Moonbird Gin

Moonbird Gin, made for gin connoisseurs and cocktail fans everywhere, is a traditional London Dry style gin based on the oldest known recipe for recreational gin dating back to 1495. Ten botanicals individually distilled combine to offer a citrus-forward nose backed by aromas of juniper that leads to a crisp, complex, layered taste with a rich mouthfeel. Angelica and Orris root, accented with fresh notes of orange, lime, and coriander on the front of the palate ushers in a spiced mid-palate of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom and ends with a dry, clean finish. All of this is balanced by a strong backbone of European juniper in a base of pure wheat neutral spirit. Moonbird is distilled without compromise in Holland by a seventh-generation family of fine spirit crafters dating back to 1777.
