Well done!
This is a tough one to do right because there are few ingredients: rum, sugar, lime, ice. The classic rum drink is sweet, sour, strong, weak. But must be balanced, and this one is. Fresh citrus is hard to replace, but this comes close and the rum is very good. The sweetness is not cloying but balanced. I cheated a bit and squeezed a bit of a lime garnish into the drink on ice, but did not try to change things. Very enjoyable and a classic.
