Last year, we had the pleasure of meeting the Old Potrero team and came away with love for this brand and an incredible 130.32 proof selection for you to enjoy. The nose is fresh with ripe green apples, honey, cashews, and light malt. This pour is surprisingly complex, evolving with every sip. Most prominently, I discovered flavors such as jams, warm bread, and dark chocolate marzipan. This leads to a long finish that punches the rye grain, white pepper spice, and raisin forward. The decadence within the bottle is matched by its new look on the outside. If you're familiar with Old Potrero, you'll also notice that the bottle design and overall look are more fitting of a modern bar than you might have seen before. This is truly something to behold.
