Bask in the limited release of a rare and collectible distillery-first single malt, that’s Scotland inspired by craft and cultures from around the world with Mortlach The Katana's Edge Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Each malt in the 2023 Special Release Spirited Xchange introduces a world of flavor to explore and enjoy the diversity of the Scotch Whisky world. It’s been finished in a combination of ex-Kanosuke Japanese Whisky and ex-pinot noir casks. The design is by Kouzou Sakai, whose art style boasts his love for nature, along with his use of negative space and asymmetrical compositions, creating captivating illustrations. On the nose are notes of melon, pear, icing sugar, fruit, and spice. On the palate are notes of fruit and dry spice with a long finish that's dry and fruity. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or with a dash of water to accentuate notes of fruit.
