The Single Barrel Rye is noted as being Jack Daniel's first new mash recipe released since 1866. It's easy to see why this was such a standout that it needed to go into production. It not only highlights some of those core notes and the consistency you have come to love from Jack Daniel's, but it also comes packing with grain-forward elements hitting with that subtle rye spice. On the nose, you'll discover vanilla cake and glazed dark fruit, leading into that rye spice. You'll find vanilla and nuttiness on the palate that leads into oak and rye bread. The long finish lingers with pepper, earthiness, and leather.
