      Beyond the Label

      A celebration of the high sun of the Orkney summer solstice, this special release seventeen year old bottling was matured exclusively in American sherry oak casks highlighting the bright and fruity side of the legendary Highland Park spirit with flavors of baked pear, nutmeg, and creamy vanilla that meld luxuriously with rich aromatic smoke. The Light is a limited release and is presented in a beautifully embossed green glass bottle that depicts the serpent dragon of the great Norse sagas embracing both the high sun and low sun of the summer and winter solstice. Awarded a Double Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition upon its release.
