      Lifelong Don Gato fan - actor, director, producer and writer, Danny McBride - wants the world to know the story of this legend and give fans the chance to sip from the cup of cool times that is Don Gato. After having spent a significant amount of time in Mexico following Don Gato, Danny learned quite a bit about this legend - which led Don Gato to authorize Danny McBride to share the experiences he filmed out in Mexico.

      The resulting “tequila sagas” of McBride’s shine a spotlight on Don Gato while capturing his passions, impressive agave skills, tequila artistry, random party acumen and unmatched catmanship. Through this series of tequila sagas, Danny McBride is sharing the story of this legend with fans across the country.

      This additive-free tequila employs the same combination of artisanal practices as it's blanco counterpart, including the preparation of a certain percentage of agave that is roasted in traditional brick ovens for maximum flavor development.

      Aroma & Taste

      Golden raisin, Madagascar vanilla, lemon peel, and tart green apple on the nose. Honeydew melon, crème brûlée and sea salt flavors in the midrange. The finish is smooth and refined with hints of butterscotch, bourbon-oak, peppercorn, and black tea.

      Finish

      After distillation, this reposado tequila is aged in bourbon barrels. This creates a honey-hued color and sweet, subtle oak and apple flavors that give it additional depth and complexity.
