      Beyond the Label

      Chichicapa was one of the very first villages that Del Maguey founder, Ron Cooper, began working with over 23 years ago! Produced by palenquero Faustino Garcia Vasquez, Chichicapa is made from local Espadín and twice-distilled in wood-fired copper pot stills. It has Faustino's signature notes of sweet roasted agave, dried fruit, almonds, and a delectable finish of dark chocolate with overtones of mint.
