This wine irresistibly evokes a beautiful summer in the countryside, ripe and juicy fruits picked from the tree, the meadows just mowed exhaling their scents of dried flowers... On the nose as well as on the palate, freshness dominates despite the sensuality of the aromas. A perfumed wine, as expressive as it is elegant.

The second label wine of the domain, Cyprès de Climens, was conceived in the same spirit of perfection as its illustrious sibling, but designed for more immediate pleasure without the wait. The fruits of a second selection, or even from the first when there is no Château Climens, it receives the same care as the latter.

Ratings: 92 points Robert Parker Wine Advocate - Pale to medium lemon-gold colored, the 2016 Cypres de Climens is a little subdued at this youthful stage, offering glimpses at candied orange peel, key lime pie, crème brûlée, and musk perfume scents plus a touch of fungi. The palate has a wonderful line of freshness cutting through the densely packed flavors, finishing long and earthy.
