Handpicked Dominican ingredients are toasted in the finest casks using a unique aromatic cask toasting process, crafted by our 5th generation of Brugal family maestros, that infuses the casks with natural aromas before the rum is aged, leading to an exquisite rum that’s rich, elegant, and rounded.
For this first edition, our Maestra Jassil Villanueva selected cacao, one of the most cherished ingredients of the Dominican Republic. This unique aromatic cask toasting with cacao captures her memories of home and rich notes of dark chocolate and toasted nuts, beautifully balanced with citrus fruit and vanilla. Best enjoyed neat.
