| Production Method | Brother's Bond Bottled-in-Bond Straight Bourbon is crafted using pure glacial aquifer limestone water, naturally filtered through shale and limestone to neutralize acidity and enhance pH levels, creating the perfect conditions for mash preparation. This water, rich in essential minerals, combines with malted barley enzymes and grains to convert starches into fermentable sugars, resulting in a well-prepared mash. The mash undergoes a three-day fermentation with a proprietary yeast strain, infusing the spirit with fruity and floral nuances and producing a vibrant distiller's beer. Distillation occurs in copper stills, purifying the spirit and enhancing flavors. The clear white dog spirit is then aged for a minimum of 7 years in charred virgin American white oak barrels, where it develops a rich and complex flavor profile. After aging, the barrels are meticulously hand-selected, with the first release comprising only 70 carefully chosen barrels. |
