Ginger marmalade with a slight pepperiness.
Sweet honeyed fruit.
Toffee and fruit cake.

5-15ml | Pandan sugar syrup |
2 dashes | Aromatic bitters |
Ingredients for Pandan sugar syrup: | Equal parts sugar to water (this recipe 1 cup:1 cup) Fresh or frozen Pandan (can be found at any Asian grocery store) |
1 | Heat sugar and water on stove until sugar is dissolved and syrup is clear. |
2 | Remove from heat and place half a Pandan leaf in warm syrup and let sit until cooled. |
3 | You can add more or less Pandan depending on how strong a flavour you'd like. |
4 | Remove Pandan and keep in fridge. |
5 | Once chilled, make yourself a classic Old Fashioned to your taste, replacing sugar syrup with your Pandan syrup. |
