At the turn of the century, most food was cooked on the open flame. People gathered ‘round the campfire on their adventures to cook, share stories, connect, and celebrate with small batch bourbon. The food, the stories, and the comradery were all amplified with a touch of smoke and flame. We love those times and that flavor, and it inspired us to craft a new perfectly aged bourbon with savory smoky notes and an exceptionally smooth finish. We aged this originally for 6 years in new American oak in the hills of Tennessee and then we aged this again in a new second heavily charred barrel. This twice-barreled bourbon creates the smooth, rich and colorful flavor of Bib & Tucker Double Char. Double Char is first aged 6 years in one new white American oak barrel and then we age it in a new second charred and smoked barrel for a minimum of 5 months This unique double char method creates the savory smoky notes and exceptionally smooth finish of Bib & Tucker Double Char. No additives, artificial flavors or artificial colors are added to our whiskey.
