Balcones Texas Rye Bottled in Bond Straight Rye Whisky

Savor the flavor of an experimental Texas-made whisky created with proud Waco roots and a pioneering spirit with Balcones Texas Rye Bottled in Bond Straight Rye Whisky. With an increase from 85% to 91% in the Elbon Rye from our original Texas Rye 100, the flavor profile is exceptionally balanced with strong chocolate and tobacco notes. Our premium whisky is made from casks pulled from the same season and matured for at least four years in a U.S. bonded warehouse. Warm sun tea, candied fennel, and spruce tips are on the nose before cooling notes of melted mint chip ice cream and raspberry glaze. Graham cracker crust, dark chocolate espresso bean, and cardamom start on the palate before notes of carrot frond, cedar chest, and apricot preserve with a hazelnut, chocolate, and blackberry jam finish. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in an old-fashioned cocktail.
