007's preferred martini
A classic cocktail made famous in Ian Fleming's Casino Royale. Despite what the MI6 secret service agent might request, however, this drink should be stirred not shaken. Typically it is made heavier on the gin, but we feel it works well inversely to highlight how much flavor our vodka actually has, and according to James Bond, "once you've tasted it, that's all you'll want to drink."

Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz. Barr Hill Vodka
- 1 ½ oz. Barr Hill Gin
- ½ oz. Cocchi Americano Bianco
- 1 Lemon Twist (garnish)
Tools of the Trade
- Jigger
- Cocktail Mixing Glass
- Bar Spoon
- Hawthorne or Julep Strainer
- Vegetable Peeler
- Chilled Cocktail Glass
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in mixing glass.
- Add ice and stir for 10-15 seconds.
- Strain into cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a Lemon Twist.
