The traditional Derby Day cocktail, and a Southern ritual crafted from Woodford Reserve Bourbon.

Ingredients
- 2 oz. Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- ½ oz. Simple Syrup
- 3 Fresh Mint Leaves
Tools of the Trade
- Jigger
- Bar Spoon
- Rocks Glass
Instructions
- Express the essential oils in the mint and rub them inside the glass.
- To the same glass, add Woodford Reserve, the simple syrup, and crushed ice.
- Stir gently.
- Garnish with more ice and fresh mint.
