An original cocktail created by Death & Co, inspired by TNT’s Emmy Award winning series, The Alienist: Angel of Darkness.
Set in 1897 New York City, Angel of Darkness follows Sara Howard (Dakota Fanning) as she makes her way in a man’s world. With a newly founded detective agency, Sara must determine how far she’ll go – and what she’s willing to sacrifice – to reach her deeper ambitions. Death & Co drew inspiration from Sara’s strong sense of self and taste for whiskey, using Old Forester 1897 Bottled in Bond bourbon in homage to the era in which the series takes place.

Instructions
- In a shaker, add Angostura Bitters, then fresh mint leaves.
- Follow with honey syrup and fresh lemon juice, then Old Forester 1897 Bottled in Bond bourbon whiskey.
- Top with ice. Shake until ingredients have homogenized and everything in the shaker is cold. Use a fine strainer to pour over ice into an old fashioned glass.
