- 2 dashes Barrel-Aged Bitters
- 1 barspoon Demerara Syrup
- 1 Orange Twist
- 1 Star Anise, for garnish

Instructions
- Combine bitters, syrup, and Maker's Mark 46 Bourbon in a mixing glass.
- Add ice and stir briefly.
- Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over one large ice cube.
- Squeeze an orange peel over the glass, rub it along the sides, and drop it in.
- Garnish with star anise.
